I do not find them attractive or appealing. I do find them to be quite a turn off. I do not really have an exact reason. Some of them like tongue piercings the germs freak me out.
Otherwise I believe it is the lack of purpose and unprofessional look of them. I do not like things without a purpose. You will never find art, photos, nicknaks, or other decorations in my home as they are just clutter with with no use. Piercings are the same way, there is no use to them so I don't see why you would spend the money. My other point about the professionalism: I'm an attorney which is still generally a very old-school group. Our clothing is very professional and piercings/tattoos even bright colors are a no-no. We like people similar to us, it is human nature, so when I'm looking at men I'm attracted the ones like me. Thus I'm most attracted to your clean shaven, suit wearing, responsible professional and piercings do not fit that mold when you are going by looks alone.
depends where the piercings are and how big, i personally like studs or small hoops in guys ears, nose, lip, tongue or above the eyebrow, but i really hate septum piercings and anything too extreme/big. I like smaller ones because they are less in your face and don't have the whole "hey, look at me, im special, im so edgy and try to look young, i add another piercing after every ugly break up"
I think that piercings on a man's body are only sexy on his face and maybe nipples... I just don't see piercings as a guy thing as much as a girlish thing. So they naturally look much better on girls - in my mind.
