Or is make-up something you wear when you feel like it, to varying degrees.
Why?
I used to wear it only occasionally but now I work as a cashier so I usually wear a little to work. On day's off though, I rarely wear any. I don't feel the need to. Even when I wear it to work I usually just wear a little lip stain and maybe some eyeshadow. Honestly it depends on the day.
Before I worked as a cashier I wore make-up maybe once every couple of weeks or so. That was all.
As for why, well I never felt like I had to. I don't really care what people think, because my friends are the only ones that really matter and they don't care if I wear make-up.
Now as a cashier I may be the last person our customers see before they leave the store. Thier impression of me could stick with them. If I don't wear make-up I could be seen as lazy or unattentive. I'm careful to not put too much on though or I'd be seen as fake. It's a difficult line to stradle.
I wear makeup, maybe twice a week and it's when I have time, and want to look a bit prettier... and I only wear eye makeup (liner and shadow...) and some gloss on my lips... I like making it look natural. And I just feel prettier and more confident, and most importantly, I think it's really fun to put on! :)

I picked C. I loveloveloooove makeup, because I have a lot of fun with it. But I don't always wear it, I don't need to wear it to feel better about myself, and I don't really care who sees me without it. I wear it most days, but it's an acccessory, not something I need to go out in public. Everyone who's important to me knows what I look like without it. I don't care what a bunch of strangers think.
I'm going with B. I really don't like leaving the house without it, but if I don't have time or have no choice but to go without it, then I won't put it on. I really just love playing with makeup styles and colors, especially when it comes to eyeshadow. It's like a piece of artwork in progress, and once I'm done, I feel more confident with my makeup on and much prettier, even though I was told a few times before that I really don't look all that different with makeup or without it.
Me too, I just love putting on eye shadow... lately I've been trying to perfect the art of making it look natural, but really enhancing my eyes... ah so fun! :)
I usualy go without make up, but if there is a party I will probalbly wear it. Sometimes it is better though to go with natural beauty,...so you can say "hey,..I don't need make up, I'm pretty without it". But there is times and places wear it is appropriate and make up can look good and bring up natural beauty.
I've done both extremes. there was a point in my life where I didn't wear any at all. that was because my mom was so strict and didn't want me wearing it. and then I went through a phase where I always wore everything: foundation, powder, veil powder, contouring powder, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara etc. now I've cut down to like 3 things-powder, eyeshadow & lipgloss. It really depends on the day too.
It's an accessory. I'm not wearing makeup today I didn't feel like putting it on. I have no problem with leaving the house without makeup during the day. At night if I'm going out I will always put something on (usually eye makeup and lipgloss). I don't like wearing foundation or powder though.
It depends on where I'm going. If I'm going to places where people don't know me (like getting groceries, library, etc) then I wear essentially nothing. Maybe loose powder, that's it. If I'm going to school or meeting with my friends, then I wear some foundation (since I have a lot of acne scars) and a little bit of mascara and minimal eyeliner. I like to go for the natural look.
Lately I've been wearing mascara, blush, and some tinted moisturizer. I have acne soo that's the reason for the tinted moisturizer, but whenever my skin clears up I'll probably just wear mascara and blush because I don't like the feeling of stuff on my face :/
How is the coverage with tinted moisturizer? I've never tried it, and sometimes when I breakout, my concealer just doesn't do it.
It's not very good lol, only kind of tones down the redness, but it's better than nothing. I've tried the slightly heavier foundations, and they have better coverage, but they always look kind of odd on me. I think it might be because I have peach fuzz on my face and the heavier makeup kind of catches the the peach fuzz haha :P
Lols! I see. ^^; Acne can be such a pain to deal with! Thank you for answering my question. ^_^
If you have acne, the best way to go is with tinted moisturizer like you already use and top it off with mineral powder. Maybe some concealer for the worst spots. A great place to get mineral powder is this website called eyeslipsface.com (sounds like I'm advertising, sorry :P). They have really good stuff for VERY cheap, and none of their products have made me break out so far! (although I naturally have pretty clear skin) But that'll give you some nice coverage that's good for your skin. :)
No. I hardly ever wear make up. I will wear it on occasion, and I love wearing it once in a while for fun. BUt I don't like how it feels on my skin after a while, so no I could never wear it all the time.
Besides I think if you want younger looking skin as you get older, don't wear too much make up.
I voted D, but really, I don't even consider makeup an accessory for me. I don't own any aside from concealer, which I don't use very often. I wore makeup for prom, but that's it. I don't really like wearing makeup.
I only wear make up for days when I'm like "f*** it, lets turn some heads". I get scared off of using make up because of how bad it is for skin, so I only use organic and hypoallergenic stuff. When I do wear it, I don't use much.
I have kind of bad skin, so I feel like I need to wear something to cover it most of the time. And I also need at least a little mascara or something. But I can go without both, I'd just rather not.
I hate wearing it, on a night out then fine but apart from that I don't think I need it. Aslong as I have a tan, that's a must.
Do you go to tanning beds in the winter then?
I used to but this year I've started wearing fake tan. When I don't have a tan I feel ugly.
Yeah- I don't like it when my freckles fade in the winter- I think I look too pale, but I'm already prone to skin damage so I don't tan. As for fake tan- I don't use it because I don't like how it feels. So I live with being pale and try to get out in the winter sun to bring those freckles back! But to each her own- there's no harm in fake tans...
Yeh I'm trying to get used to fake tan, I much prefer a real tan but there is no chance of getting one of those where I live until the summer.
I wear make-up if I'm going out, or just feel like looking a little done up. Usually do the eye-liner, eye-shadow, and mascara, but that's about it.
i don't wear makeup at all...no mascara, no foundations. And I look fine :)
I only wear it for parties or other dressed up events. But for school/work, etc...I don't wear any
I wear eyeshadow, eyeliner, and some lipgloss. That's usually the only make up I wear, but I feel weird if I have to go without it. :)
I used to be really self concious, but once you free yourself from trying to cover up everything you will feel SO much more free!
If I were a transsexual, then it is always necessary for me because I want to be seen as a woman.
So are women who don't wear makeup aren't women?
Becuase I'm an artist sometimes I just find it fun to try new things with make up but otherwise I only wear make up to cover imperfections like undereye shadow or acne or uneven skin tone
omg no I rarely wear it
i never wear makeup.
