  • Just take care of it. No point trying to grow it super long if you're going to not take good care of it, because all that will happen is it will keep breaking.

    Less heat.
    Protein, moisture, use both when needed (as time goes on you'll know when they're needed)
    More styles like buns and braids temporarily to allow it to just keep growing without breaking from friction on clothes and dry cold air in winter.
    Eat well.
    Exercise.
    When brushing and combing your hair, be gentle.
    When styling hair, don't do it too tight.
    Those will all grow it. And if it is in good condition, it will be soft and silky too.
