Its there style its not weird or immature they can dress however they like. Its not how old they are or how they dress is the problem its usually because a lot of these adult male goths come off across as intimidating and creepy and they enjoy the effect they have on people. I think a lot of people believe seem to cling to the idea if you adult you shouldn't cling to your social cliques and scene from your teen years. They consider it be immature so they villify you for it. Its not just goths (and the vampire groupies which stem from it) as grunge, punk, gangster and other cliches are also treated as such.
Some of female older goths including the one who lives in my town from aren't unattractive (its quite the opposite) at all in fact it made her quite unique and exotic compared to the rest of the local woman who look plain and boriing in comparison, She is rather hot even thought i never been too keen on dark haired woman she has a tremendous figure a bit shorter than me and rather pale but that might be make up. She is outgoing and friendly (then again if she wasn't no one would visit her shop which sells random mem). I don't know how old she is but i think she is in her late twenties.
The only reason i didn't try it on with her was she was already married. I never seen her husband but i heard about him from a mate and he is one too. I rarely vist the shop since it dosn't have much that interest me except the woman. I never really considered dating a goth since they so different from me i have dated a grunge/alt type girl who was reserved but so very hot. I probably only have a fling (a hot fling) than be dating material they would probably feel likewise.
A lot of guys seem to be into goth girls because of there striking difference from the crowd of britney wannabes. They also come across kind of easy because they dress in peculiar and often skimpy dresses and skirts. I still have yet to bag one but maybe some day.

I think it depends, like a lot of the people I know who uses to be goths still consider themselves goth, they just can't dress that way most of the time because of their jobs. and when they do, I don't think it's weird or immature, it's just them. then there are the people who refuse to dress any other way and never leave their job at Walgreens/spencers because of it, they're weird and immature lol
It totally depends if it's emo-goth, or classy-goth. Classy-goth is fine for anyone even an 100 year old, but emo-goth just isn't okay for all social settings. You can go to work usually wearing elegant black dresses with lace sleeves, and vintage necklaces, but you can't go to work wearing 90% ripped pants with chains, and black spiked hair. Unless you work at hot-topic. But usually they won't hire anyone older than 30.
Immature and weird. Imagine your manager wearing piercings, spikes hair, chains, black nail polish. You wouldn't take them seriously anymore? Goths should be a high school phase and should be grown out of by the time you enter collage.

Lmao I'd cringe,Personally, I'd be attracted to that. But that's me. YMMV.
Not at all. I like when someone adopt a certain look. You can't be too old to have a certain style.
Not at all, they have their own style and they don't care about what people may think of them. It's nice
You have a right to dress how you want and feel. Forget the haters and make yourself happy first.
Every occasion calls for a different attire. I also like to listen to The Offspring, but I don't go around dressed like a hobo.
Though, everyone deserves the chance to fuck his own life up.if s/he is 25, fine. but 35 is going a bit too far with the joke in my opinion.
They are being their true self. They are not sell outs. This is my 2 cents.
I'm a goth myself and I will still be one when I'm in my 70s.
Well, it's different, that's for sure.
it's creepy lol
