I'm not a guy so I guess I'm not answering that part of your question, but I do think bangs (or fringes, as we call them in the UK) can look immature. Not always, don't get me wrong - they can also look mature, or just plain cute. But normally it's sexier to have a hairstyle that can be swept around and parted anywhere, like so:

Well the thing is it's not about what the guys like or dislike is about what u like because if a guy doesn't like your new look but you like it just be yourself and I know this doesn't really answer the question but I just wanted to tell everyone that
When I had them, some guys said they really liked them, some said they hated them.
But they're pretty hard to pull off. If they don't look good on you, it's just...not good.
It depends, if a girl can pull off bangs they can look fantastic but if not (i.e. when the hair is coming straight down causing that "long haired bowl cut" style) it can look very unappealing. Overall it's dependent partly on the guy in question, but primarily on the girl and how suited she is to having bangs.

I've found that people with longer foreheads (usually corresponds to oval faces) look better with bangs. Long being the distance from your hairline to your eyebrows. If your forehead is short, I wouldn't.

I don't like bangs at all. not really sure why, it just doesn't look good. Bangs on any girl make her less attractive
