I think a lot of guys think they prefer straight hair. You know - when you say 'imagine your perfect girl' they'd probably imagine her with straight hair. But for a lot of guys I know, although they all say they like a girl with straight hair - whenever they've met a hot girl with curly hair they've never been like ... 'woah that is so unattractive'.
And different hair suits different people so whilst guys might normally prefer straight hair, on another girl they might like it curly.
And I think there's this stigma about straight hair being soft and easy to run your fingers through, and that being impossible with curly hair - which isn't the case if you look after you hair well.
I have straight hair naturally and I hate it - so much so that in one way or another, most days, I'll wear it curly.
because the media mostly shows girls with straight hair. a pretty girl is a pretty girl. if the media focused more on beautiful girls with curly hair, then more guys would prefer curly hair. a lot of people have been conditioned by the media to prefer certain things. its not like all girls with curly hair are lonely old maids. you can def run your hands through curly hair, I am a hair dresser and I have even done hair for african american ladies with natural kinky hair and you can run your hand through it.
I don't understand either. My hair is naturally curly, and though my boyfriend doesn't care if I leave it that way, he says straight hair is sexier. I asked him why, but he shrugged and said, "It just does".
honestly now that you point it out. I never dated a girl with curly hair lol
but yeah I think its just more attractive. but then again its a guys preference.
there are always professional hair straighten that is around 200-$400 that last for a few months.

I've heard it's because guys like to run their fingers through a girl's hair. I have very curly hair and recently I'd heard from a BUNCH of guys that they love curly hair. (And they weren't saying it because my hair was curly. I straighten my hair a lot because it's easier to mange. So I had straight hair at the time.)
I don't care what people think about my curly hair haha.
But tons of guys from my school LOVE my curly hair, and they also like it when I wear it straight.
But idk...
UNATTRACTIVE!? Curly hair is super freakin BEAUTIFUL! I know what you mean though everyone likes "straight hair" having straight hair myself I hate it I find curly hair exotic and beautiful!
Straight hair is healthier softer and better looking.that is why guys like it.and if you are mixed with curly hair that sucks because most guys don't like mixed girls or curly hair
i had this conversation with my grandma, who in the 50s was the only the one of her sisters with straight hair and she was always teased about it,
everyone wanted curly hair back then, now everyone wants it straight...go figure.
Lol, guess I didn't notice that's their preference. I think both styles look okay on me, but straight hair is a lot easier to manage. As long as I like how it looks I think that's all that matters.

It depends on the features. Face shape, bone structure etc. Some girls look better with curly hair, some do with straight.
Wavy>Curly>Straight. They're all good but straight is kinda boring. That's just how I see it. I'm one of the few that are different.
I heard from a few guys that they'd be less likely to approach a girl with tight curls in her hair because it makes her look "uptight".
