I'm looking for some new casual, yet stylish shoes. All the ones I like are flat soled. Last summer I had a metatarsal foot fracture partially due to walking/running in flat soled slip-ons. I have very arched feet and am skeptical of using any flat soles. Would it be okay if I were to put some sort of arch-support insert in? If have any knowledge in this field I'd appreciate your thoughts.

  • Yes, sole supports will help out. Anything to help give the shoe a little more support and comfort would be worth the health risks and pain associated with wearing flat shoes. Try out some sole supports and see how they feel. They should help alot.

I work in the shoe dept :)
