Does it really matter what you wear?

  • To spend THAT much money on stupid brand-name clothes makes me look down on everyone who wears them. Plus, from my experience every girl who wears them are extremely conceited. It's like, "I'm so perfect, so I need expensive, brand-name clothes to fit my perfectness."

Ugh. If there are normal girls out there who wear those types of clothes, they're either trying to fit in, or they're really hard to find.

    • Whoever, sent this, I wear hollister and abercrombie, but I'm perfectly, normal, I have a lot of friends, from all different groups, and I don't consider, myself, to be better than any one else, after all ,were all human, But, really, I should just be thankful, to have clothes, considering, some people dont.

    • American Eagle isn't as bad. I wouldn't care much. It just gets annoying when you live in a relatively well-to-do area of California and tons of girls are sporting top brand name clothing. So yeah, American Eagle is fine.

    • You live in California (socal I will assume for this time) and you don't expect girls to walk around in hollister and abercrombie? Not to mention you think that is expensive for socal... think otherwise.

  • To me Hollister and Abercrombie just scream "I'm superficial and shallow, I could have gotten this same shirt without the logo for half the price, but I wanted to pay an extra 30 dollars for a logo" either to show off that you have money, or be trendy.

I know that's not necessarily true of everyone wears this, but that's just generally my first impression. Sorry to any people who wear this stuff and aren't like that.

  • It really doesn't matter, but since I'm in hi- school ya I like most of them. The best ones are the tight fitting shirts, but I mean really the logo doesn't matter, but it does make you look more popular in hischool, but anyone who wears taht after college is screwed up. Ya it is fairly expensive compared to other clothes so I would say buy them if you are really desperate to have them.

  • To all the above answers A&F is not expensive in reality. It is only expensive to the crowds of people that wear it. When I see a girl wearing it I immediately know a couple things about her. She has no style, because she just goes to the first store that sounds trendy and that she is unable to grow out of high school. Abercrombie and Hollister especially scream high school. If you are in high school then more power to you. But, be ready to grow out of it soon. The clothing is cute and really can look hot, but try and mix it up with other brands. Whole outfits from one store, no matter what store, look tacky and uncreative.

  • They're usually uptight and high maintenance girls. I don't bother with them, although some are eye candy.

  • it doesn't matter. It's a pretty common brand and if a girl wheres it what does it matter.

  • What does it matter as long as they look good. At least with hollister since it's not too expensive. same with AE it's just a set of clothes. I don't know why, but I think girls who wear abercrombie and fitch are dumb and just skanky because you can get the same stuff at hollister half priced.

  • Ok, the stores really don't matter, I mean, I shop at Abercrombie and I have wavy brown hair, I wear a lot of hemp, I wear really bright colors, and I wear converses. Yeah, I'm that weird girl who's in the H.O.P.E. club (helping our planet earth club). High school will eventually be over, and we will all be equal.

But, I get what you're saying, the "beautiful preppy/cheerleader" style. I would hope that guys wouldn't pick girls based on their tans and clothes.
