If the camera doesn't lie, then why do all my pictures look different?

I look different in every picture I take. Sometimes my nose looks bigger, other times smaller. Same with my chin and lips. My friend just posted pictures on Facebook that we took on Saturday night and a bunch of people have said I look like different people in each one. But supposedly the camera doesn't lie.

  • The camera can lie. As a photography student, it was my job to make it lie.

And I know what you mean. Sometimes I look perfectly normal, like this: link

  • Obviously the camera has developed a secret plot to drive you insane. Or, you know, how you look in a picture is dependent on the lighting and angle of the photo. On second thought, maybe that.
