How odd is it that my eyes change color depending on what U.S state I'm in?

I don't understand why it happens, but when I go to a different state my eyes change colors. My eyes are naturally hazel but then change all different colors.

For example:

New York: hazel

New Jersey: very light brown

Massachusetts: green

North Carolina: the upper part of my eyes were brown and the lower was green (the weirdest I've seen them)

Florida: gray

Maryland: kinda blue.

I don't get it, but do you think it's cool or think it's just as odd as I think?

  • My sisters eyes change colors too. It's cool, not weird. I highly doubt it has anything to do with what state you're in, but the climate might. My sisters eyes change with the seasons and what she's wearing.

  • Well, biologically, your eyes don't change color. However, lighting differences can make them look different shades. Sorry hun, they don't actually change colors.

  • That happens to a lot of people. Consider yourself lucky.

It's strange, but I wouldn't worry too much about it :)
