Are people more likely to talk about attractive girls around average looking people?

For example, lets say there was a class discussion and somehow a guy brought up a topic that had something to do with hot girls... Would that more likely occur when there are less attractive or average looking girls around, since it won't single out any of the girls in the classroom? Or does it not really matter who is in the classroom?

I know this is an odd question...
