My hair's a very light brown with dirty blond tones. I bleached it when I was younger because I wanted the Sun In effect. It was awful looking and I turned more brassy than blond. I had to dye it back to my natural color but the dye faded and changed and I wanted it to grow out, back to my natural, so I just had to have weird-toned hair for a while and cut off as much of the grown out ugly hair as I could stand to part with.
It took years to get rid of.
Besides that I never dyed it. Since I'm kind of between brown and blond, I get in my moods. Sometimes I want to go blond and my eyes/skin are light plus I was a blond child so it may be passable. Then at other times I want to go dark brown because I think that with my light eyes the contrast would be very pretty. But I'm a bit scared to dye my hair and don't want to hassle with it. Plus I like the idea that I'm all natural.
It really depends on the guy. Some men I know love blondes, even fake blondes, because most blondes around here are fake or at least enhanced. But other guys say that they think the hottest is dark hair and light eyes.
Sometimes I get called "blonde" because my hair isn't quite brunette looking and I am a bit ditzy :P though not stupid!
When I go gray I think I will experiment. But by the time that happens maybe I will just want to restore my natural color.Hopefully it won't be for at least 20 years :P I do believe that many people look best with their natural color, and that they were meant to have it, that's why they were born with it. Though dyed hair can look nice.
I used to have that White blond brass hair color I got a lot of negative attention from guys, thinking I was up for sex, I'm easy I'm cheap ...when I was a virgin but no knew that obviously I hadn't even had a boyfriend so something I wasn't was cheap and easy. I loved my hair color tho anyway I dyed it brown and I was Suprised because I was scared to go brown after having blond hair for so long and I Thot maybe that's why I got attention sometimes it was nice attention, once I was brown I got more attention then I did blond and more positive, from nicer males didn't think I was cheap and easy anymore and to be honest I couldn't go back to that White blond hair color again I feel it's for loud people and have to be able to throw back any negative attention they recieve and I'm kinda shy at times.
I'm brown still and I get loads of nice attention still, I do love it brown but I'd love blond hair again lol but not as brassy but my boyfriend talks me out of blond hair because he said he doesn't like it even tho he met me blond :p but I do notice him checking blondes out but it does catch your eye as it's nice and bright.

yes! I have naturally dirty blond hair and I used to get highlights and dye it lighter blond. I recently started dying it brown. I found that when my hair was blond people underestimated me more and didn't seem to take me seriously.
people also said I looked younger when I had blond hair (I'm 21 but people sometimes thought I was 16 or 17).
And I found that I got more attention from guys as a blonde.
When I dyed my dirty blond hair brown a couple years ago, a lot of people asked me if I was Hispanic (I'm not) I guess becauase I'm tan and have big lips or something. I have dyed my hair lighter blond, light brown, medium brown, dark brown, black, red and auburn.
My hair is naturally black but I dye it red because I like it. Guys compliment my hair a lot, but they all seem to think I'm a slut. They don't tell me in those words, but they expect me to sleep with them right away. I get more approached by married guys, guys who don't want a "serious" relationship, pushy guys, etc. And they get all mad when I reject the "naughty encounter."
I hate those kind of sterotypes like "blondes are dumb" "red heads are skanks" "brunettes are smart." etc...
I think I got less male attention...I have black hair and dyed it medium brown
Guys seem to ignore me more I guess having black hair looked better on me I dyed it medium brown and auburn
