If you have a tattoo when you're kinda chubby, will it look gross when you lose weight?

like if you get one on your back or arms, what happens? won't it look nasty afterwards?

  • It depends on how much you lose/how much flabby skin is there. If you only have less than 50 pounds to lose, more than likely it'll be tight in that area from toning up. But if you have more or if it does affect it regardless of how much you lose, then yea a lot of times the tattoo will appear puffy and sort of scrunched up.

  • Yes, one more reason to avoid large tattoos! The skin will sag and it will look very strange..

  • It depends on where on you body it is, if its somewhere like your ankle or wrist, it will probably be fine. If its on your rib cage or upper legs, you may have to get it touched up.
