I have worn dark eye makeup for several years and have never been called slutty because of it. I have, however, been accused of putting my makeup on in the dark. One time I was walking from the parking lot and some random dude in a car was driving by and shouted "you're wearing too much eyeliner." That was kind of weird. On the other hand, I've gotten compliments on it once in a while as well.

I don't do it quite like the girls in the pictures, but the way I do it is very intentional and I really don't give a crap what anyone else thinks of it.

My personal hate for it is when girls try to do it and look horrible. I have nothing against it when it is done correctly! It could also just come from the similarities to how strippers apply their heavy makeup? Not for sure on that, but just a thought!

Smokey eye normally gives a girl bedroom eyes, which is why it's used in p*rn, cause it gives a sexier look. Sexy girls are often perceived as slutty by the ugly and unwanted girls

its that makeup that you wear when your trying to evoke glam or sexy. the type of girl who wears it is usually into looks, glam and femininity or sexiness. some girls get threatened by this and just throw out hateful words so girls with dark heavy eye makeup are hoes and sluts. I think its cute and I don't judge people by how they apply their makeup. if I could apply makeup better I'd rock this look every now and then

I think it's because smoky eye makeup is associated with the night life. Girls that wear smoky eye makeup go out regularly and most girls who go out regularly are slutty to some degree. Sorry to put it that way but that's how it is.

getting drunk obviously causes people to lose their inhibitions and do things they may regret, and doing slutty things is among the things that many girls do under the influence.

Personally I have nothing against smoky eye makeup. I have applied dark eye makeup on a few occasions myself. Another user said that it's associated with p*rnstars and that's very true as well. If you like dark eye makeup that's fine just don't get mad at people trying to give the most accurate answer to your question.
