What determines stomach size?

Does everyone have the same sized stomach regardless of height or weight or other factors? It's known that women need less calories than men, so shouldn't the same be true regarding height? Like, a 5' person would need less calories than someone who's 6'? Since they need to eat less, would their stomach be smaller?

What Guys Said 1

  • Stomach size is driven more by how you eat then what you need.

Competitive eaters (many of whom aren't very heavy) stretch their stomachs by drinking vast amounts of water.

  • Well if I'm not that hungry for lets say a week my stomach shrinks so I get fuller faster but am hungry more often, but I can also be stretched out if you eat too much.
