What do you think of bright red / hot pink fingernail polish?

I hate this! Makes a girl look trashy even if everything else is tip-top. What do you think though?

I personally don't like the red/hot pink myself. But it has everything to do with skin coloring.

Some gals wear red exceptionally well but the hot pink is a little harder to pull off. It's more of a little girl color.

I do nudes, mauves very well where other gals it may be a bland color for them.

However in summer time on toes nails, with some sexy strappy sandals, cute shorts, bikini and maxi dresses or sun dresses, it's doable for most women because colors are fun on the toes.

I'm with you. I think really trashy & the red looks like something an old lady would wear. lol Hot pink? Really trashy. I actually like a clear fingernail or something light. I'm all about a color on my toes. Never matchy. Again, looks like some old grandma or hooker. lol Sorry to all grandma's & hookers.

Red is my favorite color, but I go for darker shades of red, you know, bloody red and such. I agree bright red/hot pink makes girls look trashy.

Interesting opinion. But I've only ever really liked wearing red on my toes. I'm extremely pale, and it's the color that looks best on my feet, probably because of the pinkish hue on the bottoms.

Although I'm fairly light and it "supposedly" compliments my complexion, I just don't like red fingernail polish on me, I would choose hot pink over red, but occasionally I do wear it.
