I wore heels and it turned out okay. Just don't go too crazy. Wear like 4 inch heels at the most, and try to find comfortable ones if you have a big graduating class (mine was over 1000 students, so it was a very long ceremony). At my graduation, one girl wore massive platforms and she feel off the stage and broke her ankle. All the valedictorians (we were in the front row) rushed forward to help her and she was crying and blushing like mad and she was telling us to crowd over her so the cameras wouldn't see her. Her fall was on the DVD, though.
So if you think you'll fall and embarrass yourself in front of hundreds if not thousands of people, wear flats. But if you can handle shorter heels, do that.

r you joking :o of course heels <3 :) you say you can't walk well in these but at least become in the heels for an hour at least while being taken pictures :) believe me u'll look so much better in heels if you get tired of walking you wear another shoes I don't know where you are going to celebrate this in a hotel ? or somewhere then I mean if a hotel get a room or say the staff to put your flat shoes somewhere and you can get them easily then :) I'm not native speaker of English I hope I could say what I mean well :)
I wore heels to mine. I had to find some with a comfortable heel that was high enough to make me look taller for the pictures but small enough to not make me wabble. If you feel more comfortable wearing flats, find some cute ones. Can't go wrong with a simple black flat.
Personally I feel flats bring out the natural beauty and slim look on girls legs and you never know if the ceremony might take longer than you think. Also by what you said I think you have answered your own question seems like flats are the way to go.
Depends on if you want to look cute, or sexy. Flats if you want to look cute but heels if you want to look sexy

If you think you will fall then flats all the way. But If graduation is in May/June then you have a while to practice and get better, so then I would go with heels because they are cuter.
You probably don't have to walk that far at a graduation, and heels will make your legs look more striking. Unless you're really tall, yuw ant to make an impression in thepictures...heels will do that for you.!
I can't walk in heels that great...and I'll be the 8th person to walk across so I'll be super duper nervous/excited. Better wear heels so I don't embarrass myself.
If you can't walk in heels well then it won't look as good. People around you can see the wobbling so it'll look as uncomfortable as it feels. :/ So either practice loads or go with some cute flats :D
Yes, flats, or if weather OK, sandals (wore them with pantyhose at my graduation--very sexy and comfy)
Heels, you sit most of the time anyway expect for the procession and some pictures afterward. Throw some flats in your purse as a backup.
I wore flats . . I was the shortest person in the room . .:P
but all girls said I was lucky cause I was comfortable . . :)If you're more comfortable with flats, I say go for it.
High heels.
But to save the embarrassment and not risking to fall. Go with flats.Go with flats. If you can't walk that well in heels it's better to not risk embarrassing yourself with a fall. Stay comfortable and standing with your flats.
I wore flats to mine, but only because I took into account the stage and the setting (grass and lots of metal steps). Depending on the location, wearing heels might cause you to trip and fall, which would probably be embarrassing at a graduation.
do you wanna be uncomfortable or comfortable? lol
Flats. They'll be comfier for the ceremony
Heels kinda looks more stunning to a girl.
You just answered your own question. Flats it is.
Then go with flats. You have your reasons
I'd probably wear heels, since I never do...
Heels looks better, try practicing.
