There was someone who brought up the argument to me a while back. One day out of the year where nobody wears makeup. While it's assumed this would apply to women, I suppose it would also apply to a few men.
The idea suggested was that "It would show the hassle women go through that men don't have to worry about." But that's not why I'm interested.
To me, it would show two things: How good girls still look without chemicals on their face, and more importanly, how guys really didn't give a sh*t in the first place.

Why not also have a men give birth instead of women day... YEAH LIKE THATS GNNA HAPPEN.
I think there are two reasons people usely mainly wear makeup - 1) low self esteem and 2) To attract a person by enhancing certain features. BUT both of these reasons are the cause of one reason only and that is the media. . If there were no magazines or pictures of women who are airbrushed with their "perfect" complexions, I don't think the makeup industry would be where it is today.
Because of societal pressure I think there's a feeling that you must be a certain way or look a certain way. I don't think wearing makeup is bad necessarily, its just I think we should learn to be OK once in a while without the makeup.2
