Any oral piercing will close very fast (but it still depends on the person). I had a tongue web piercing. I had to take it out when I got my wisdom teeth removed. I had it for 3 years at this point. I took it out right before the procedure and went to put it back in about an hour and a half later, as soon as I was out of surgery, and it had already closed.
i just looked that up...i think it is the most disgusting piercing I have ever seen.
and I didn't see anything about time closing.
