How to recover from a cheat meal while trying to diet?

So I've been eating clean and working out for a few months now and I feel great. Thursdays are usually my cheat days for me. How can I recover from a 'bad' cheat day? I had candy today and I feel bloated, which is normal for a cheat day.
But I'm glad I did, because i don't want my cravings to get out of control.
Just drink more water?
And do my regular exercise routine tomorrow?
please don't be rude, I want to do well but don't want my cravings to make me go way off track later down the line and make me gain everything back, you know?
