Actually this is a personal MyTake. I'm just posting this here in order to not forget those Rules, but...you can follow them if you want it.
(In alphabetical order)
1) Don't follow a girl for a long distance
Five minutes at most. Just as much as in order to make it appear you just happen to go the same way, and not that you're stalking her.
2) Don't hit on a girl from behind
Although chances are she might be young, she might be an old woman who is dressed up in a youthful manner...or even worse a guy with long hair (if he wears unisex clothes).
3) Don't hit on a girl on a dark isolated street
Even if you actually don't have any bad intentions, you might scare her and she might even start panicking.
4) Don't hit on a girl who is not alone.
With who, it doesn't really matter. Young or Old, Man or Woman it doesn't matter. But the worst above all is being with her mom. Have you ever seen how a mother reacts if some jerk hits on her daughter? You wouldn't want to know.
5) Don't hit on a girl who wears earphones
It's a clear sign that she doesn't want to get annoyed.
6) Don't whistle at a girl
No girl would take it gracefully. I'd never do it again.
7) Hit on a girl discreetly when you are on the street
Like bump into her on purpose but making it appear it was by mistake. Then judge by her reaction. If she ignores it then go on. If she feels annoyed try to calm her down, etc. Well this is something that cannot be explained because you don't know her reaction. But move on carefully.
8. Hit on a girl discreetly when you're at a store, and she works there.
I mean don't be so obvious. Like for example close your eye to her as you are leaving, and always choose her counter when you go there, for obvious reasons.
9) Hit on a girl when you're alone.
It's better. Your friend might be a jerk and mess things up. And obviously when the girl is alone as well, as I stated above.
10) If you get negative answers or you have been ignored don't insist.
Do you want to make things worse? Just give it up.
