I used to be like that. But not anymore, simply because I got sick of being this quiet kid. So why not help the others who were or still suffering the same fate? You know, you cannot keep on waiting forever, for a girl to appear to you out of the blue. You must do something too!
Forget about internet dating, first of all…
I think it’s really pitiful to use internet dating, and it’s the most fake thing in the dating world. In my opinion at least. It will only boost your introvertness if you choose that way of dating.
Anyway, they say introverts have strong imagination. It’s a part of my past self that I have still kept and use it. It’s one of the good traits of being an introvert. You can play some games in your mind, where you could convince yourself somehow, that you can do it.
The number game
Before you leave home set a number and say to yourself, If I don’t hit on X girls, I am not allowed to go back home. Start with the number “1” as the first step. Then as time goes by make the number bigger and bigger, but don’t surpass “5”. Once you reached 5, it means you are in a good way.
Imagine someone is pointing you a gun on you…
…and tells you If you don’t hit on this girl I’m gonna shoot you! Do it now! But you must try to convince yourself that someone is doing this to you, otherwise it won’t work.
Imagine you are an actor…
Many introverts are actors, indeed. So if the character you had to play was supposed to pick up on girls, wouldn’t you do it? Now imagine you are an actor in real life, and you are portraying someone else.
You wouldn’t want to be like him, right?
Imagine a person who is being mocked by everyone, because he can’t approach girls. Now would you like to be like him? So your only solution is to start making a move as well ABSOLUTELY, if you don’t want to be like him!
And let the girls approach you as well…
I know it’s crazy if such a thing happens, but…it happens. Also it depends where you live, because in some countries girls are more willing to make a move. So, if such a thing happens and a girl makes a comment about the way you dress, or something about your face, don’t lose your cool. Stay calm and don’t lose your chance. If she actually compliments you, there’s a high chance she is single. And even if she is not, there’s also a chance she is not getting along with her boyfriend. If that’s so, better stay in contact with her, because you will never know how things will turn about.
