Around his friends he won't talk to me.

so there is this guy and I don't understand him at all. When in person when around his friends he won't talk to me when he is not he will talk to me like any other one of his friends. When online and he talks we have great long conversations when I talk to him first he will reply but it will always take a bit longer y is is that when he approaches me or starts the conversation everything is great but when it happens the other way round its like he hates me I don't understand at all. please someone help me :)

he's most likely really shy, he likes to open up to you more on the computer because its easy and he doesn't have to do a lot. but in real life he's obviously shy. and have you ever heard of guys ignoring the girls they like? that's what this situation sounds like. but he might have not told his friends about his feelings for you and doesn't want them to assume and then get teased in front of you and be embarrassed, you know? I think you just need to really understand where he's coming from just let him to that and kind of do your own thing to keep your mind off of it. because it gives him time to get closer to you in person, also get more opportunity in person, like asking him to hangout and go from there... cause the more comfortable he is around you the more he will feel comfortable bringing you into his friends lives as well! good luck don't worry!

I disagree with other poster in this thread. He is ignoring you when he is with his friends because he's embarrassed by you. He doesn't want to introduce you. The time he spends with his friends is just that. Time with his friends. Not time with his friends + you.

When he starts the conversation he actually wants to talk. When you start the conversation he probably has other things going on and you're not the priority.

You're probably better off looking for someone new who will actually give you the time of day when you speak, regardless of the circumstance. Unfortunately that's just how the cookie crumbles.
