How should I respond when he teases me and says I'm goofy?

My crush and I were talking and he proceeded to laugh and call me goofy. I responded with a "yeah, I tend to say and do things that make no sense". How can I sound more flirty when he teases me like that?

I wasn't trying to be goofy. He asked me how I was doing and I said that I'm starting to get a sore throat. I hope the kids aren't making me sick (we are teachers). He said uh oh and then I rambled on how maybe I'm a hypochondriac and he laughed and said, "you just don't become a hypochondriac over night. You are goofy".

So, better to try humorising (not an English word, but get the context) the situation, rather than trying to be flirty and...
