he was like how old are you? told him am 17 and he replied you are very young. then when i asked him how old he was.. he told me that he is going turn 20 and he is older for 4 years. it seemed that we were both nervous as i realised that he was 3 years older. what do u think? when he sees me he still talks to me but he hasn't asked me out..did the age stopped him from dating me?

the 3-4 years age difference is not a big deal but 17 is for many guys 18 is a magic number for most guys because there is just to much risk even if his intentions are good.

if your still interested maybe talk to him about y'all can try just hanging out not friend zone but not dating then after you turn 18 y'all could give dating a try if your still interested at that time

Sounds like it does matter to him. You are "underage" to him. I recommend you stay away from him because there is a high chance that he will lead you into trouble. Especially since he said that you are young. That sounds kinda suspicious to me.

Your age could have nothing to do with it. I feel like you are assuming he hasn't asked you out yet because you're too young. But even before he knew how old you are, there's a chance he wasn't going to ask you out. So your age might hsve nothing to do with it you know?
