When you wear something short on the bottom you have to balance it out on the top to keep away from looking more on the slutty side, so if you wear short shorts or a short skirt, wear a top that doesn't show the midriff, and isn't super low cut, or strapless, just for future notice, so if the top was longer it would be fine, and another aspect in whether or not you look slutty is how you carry yourself as a person, your makeup, your reputation, and of course whether you have a nice little smile on your face or this " I'm sexy let me blow you " scowl haha.

But from how you described yourself I'm sure it would be fine, just smile : ) and maybe have a slightly longer shirt.

i think the outpis is perfect. I don't see it as slutty at all. if people do I guess I am one big slutty virgin haha b.c. I have worn same outfit and I wear short skirts and tops. But like someone said balance it, if my shorts are short, my top is more closed. and the other way around.

Not too "slutty" but it's walking a fine line between trashy and sexy IMO. Depends on where you're going. Try wearing either the shirt longer (covering your stomach) or the shorts a little longer. Makeup's okay, might look like too much on some people though.

It's a cute outfit, but I would recommend wearing a shirt that covers all of your midsection. Having your stomach exposed is a definite way to look slutty. Short shorts are generally considered a good choice despite revealing most of the leg, so they should be fine.

I don't think its slutty if you have the body structure and the tan like megan fox in that picture. Otherwise you probably won't be able to pull off that outfit. But its cute, just maybe a longer sweater. I don't think the short sweater is bad if you look like her.

No it's cute. I wouldn't show the stomach like she is. That's trashy, but otherwise it's fine. The shorts may be a little short for a date, where as You could wear them to a club. Soo, pull the shirt down, tad bit longer shorts, keep the heels, you're good to go.

Lol I've seen shorter shorts to be honest and those are pretty conservative in comparison so I don't think they need to be any longer. Plus, I don't think that outfit's dressy enough to wear to clubs. And lastly, showing a little stomach isn't trashy at all. A lot of people do it and it's pretty fashionable now-a-days (or at least where I live). That outfit is perfectly fine to wear out on a date, in my opinion.

Well for a date...the more conservative the better unless you really wanna put all your goods out there and look like a total prostitute, because that's how the outfit would appear if you didn't change it. If that's the message you want to portray by all means wear it as it is. If not then I would tone it down and have some class.
