How do you run, jump, hug and NOT kick your beloved in his crown jewels?

Question

My boyfriend once asked me why I never run and give him a hug. I never told him the reason was because I tried it once with an ex many years ago and kicked him in his special zone.

Basically, the weird question is, how do you run, jump, hug and NOT kick your beloved in his crown jewels?

In my head I fear I have to try and be like one of those webbed squirrels, and jump off some high ground and just hope he catches me. It really can't be that difficult can it?

Argh, I'm not a complete idiot by the way, it's just I really want to be able to run and jump into his arms when I see him, without the fear that I'm going to damage what he has, cause I like what he has down there, and if there's a sure fire way of not damaging them, but still being able to run and give him a hug, then I'd love to know it.

See, now lately my other... certain areas have been hit when I've done the hug. Meaning the Adam's Apple. My lady friends all see to be at the height where they end up accidently squeezing the adam's apple. I'm more concerned with THAT.

Ok, minus sitting wrong, and getting hit... there... I'm not really concerned with it. I guess they just kind of bounce with me. Lol. Actually, I wear underwear, so unless... somehow it gets stuck between the leg and the leg hole of the underwear, it's not a huge issue.

I can't (nor do I want to) cross my legs. That hurts sometimes. I see all these male celebrities doing this one leg over the other thing, it would be uncomfortable for me. I've done it to make fun of women or those guys, but it does seem to squash them. Other than that, I don't think I've ever been hit there by a girlfriend from a hug. Now, I work with kids, so I do get hit there when they hug, because they're at the height where slamming into someone can be troublesome, but other than that, no problems.

I don't really jump vigorously enough to get pinched. I suppose the legs are naturally somewhat more open for the jump. I've never really thought about it.

I have never had that happen. Usually girls are sure to keep their legs on either side of my body (spread) when they jump. One way to make sure of this is to run up and put your arms on his shoulders as leverage for the jump, allowing you more air time to get your legs spread, I guess? I never realized this was a problem.

my boyfriend asked me to do this a few days ago. he calls it a super hug. the first time I did this with him, my legs stayed together and hung to one side. then they fell to the ground and I stayed upright on my tippy toes. I did this with him twice today. the first time my legs did the same thing and stayed together. the second time I think I kneed him lightly in the stomach, and when I realized what I did my legs automatically spread and I hung onto him like a baby. he told me he didn't even realize that I did it and he wasn't hurt at all. so my advice is to either pull both legs to one side at the same time or spread and wrap them. however, I've never found the spread legged method to be very attractive. but I could tell he enjoyed it. whenever you do it, just keep in mind where your knees are going as well as how he's positioned and you'll be ok.

Hahaha this question made me laugh. I've never worried about kicking my guy friends down there, but I've also never done the whole run and jump thing. I'm more worried about knocking him down! I'm 5'10" and even though I'm thin, being that tall means you're not going to be light as a feather lol. I guess just be sure to spread your legs and wrap them around him, that way also you're helping to support your weight and he doesn't have to do it all with his arms.

This question made me laugh only because I have this image of me doing this to my fiance in my head. It is possible to run and hug him without killing the family jewels. The trick is to spread your legs open when you are jumping in mid air and wrap them around him. Here's a good way:

Center yourself, and try to be symmetric when you jump. So when you run and one leg goes in front of the other, pause when you are in front of him for a split second to align yourself, and then jump while lifting both of your legs like a baby being carried, and hug him, that hsould work, it is all in the timing of the different motions. That is my very technical solution to that problem based on what I see :).

hey, yea it is a worrysome subject. cause if ya do end up kicking him after ya jumped on him then ya'll both will go down. =) which..bout happened once with me and my guy. but the key is that when you run and go to jump on him make it so that it would be like your legs would wrap around his waist. and that should keep him intact.

Just for the record, for anybody who reads this. The term used for a "run, jump, and hug" is a 'glomp'. Don't know how this name came around, but that's the word for it.

I'd suggest that you glomp him ("glomp" is the proper term) from the side, and be VERY careful about where your legs are going. Or you could do it the wrong way and bring a video camera and well... you get where I'm going.
