I'm really good friends with one of my guy friends who keeps telling me I should go out with him, but I'm just not interested in him that way. He's one of my best friends and I'm also afraid of losing that friendship. He's really insecure with himself so I don't know how to be honest with him without hurting his feelings. I feel like a relationship would never work out in the end, and might cost us our friendship.

Things have gotten kind of complicated with him though. He likes to give me goodbye kisses and it's gotten to a point that things have gotten a little awkward. He asks me all the time if I will go out with him, and I honestly just don't have the guts to break his heart. I don't want to lead him on, but I also don't want to hurt him. I don't want to ruin our friendship. How do I tell him his friendship means a lot to me, but I don't want to date him?

there is no easy way around this. you need to tell him exactly what you explained above. however be specific in that you have love for him as a friend, try to ease it to him. you don't see him in that manner but still want him only as a friend. he will understand and might get a little sad or even upset but hell know that your still his friend and assure him that you care.
