Guys, Why do guys put their hands in their pockets when a girl is flirting with them?

I have a thing for this older guy at my work. Today while we were riding on the elevator together I started being a little flirty. As soon as I got flirty he put his hands in his pockets. He was standing up tall (not acting like he was nervous), smiling, responding to what I was saying and didn't tell me to stop. But Why did he put his hands in his pockets like that? Did I make him uncomfortable, or is it a good sign?

lol, it could be that he is nervous.

It could be that he is erm.. trying to control any reaction shall we say to your presence by discreetly holding back something in the pants from showing it's excitement.

Maybe it was as it was a lift where some people tend to be nervous. As it's a confined space, they might have been worried about gesticulating with hands, but a lift is a hot place to flirt! Keep going.

It could be a sign they like you if they are single.

Cuz we can't decide how to keep our hands and need to be calmed so we just put them in our pockets and don't see them thinking is cool :)

In my opinion he found it uncomfortable. It could be because he thinks that you flirt a lot with many other boys and you're trying to do the same to him. He also might think that you're trying to hold his harm or arm but he doesn't want to.
