So I went to a club with my ex and we're in the process of becoming friends (he brought a date). I've been crushing on this guy that I only met after we broke up but turns out they're friends. I got a little too drunk and went up to him to kiss him and he being drunk too kissed me for like less than 2 seconds and then envoked "the bro code" how do I get around this? My ex and him aren't even that close considering they never hung out (unless they were in track which my ex is no longer on the track team) and we didn't meet till after the break up... Therefore they technically aren't really bros... I need help xD any advice?

My ex has just confirmed that he'd be okay with me and this guy going out.
Move on. If he has it in mind that he doesn't want you, then respect that. If a guy was asking a question like yours, girls would call him a creep and scold him.

Its not necessarily bro code, some guys just don't want to have sex with a girl that a friend of theirs has been with.

If the friendship is more important than one tryst then you really can't do anything. Friends don't want to make each other uncomfortable
They make it seem like there's an actual statute punishable by prison called the Bro Code lol.
You have to get your ex to relieve him of his bro obligation
If the friend is a good guy, he won't go with you. You, as a woman, need to respect the bro code
