Do I continue to invite myself over?

I have been seeing this guy for a little while and at first he wanted me to come over every night but I didn't want to give in all the time now he doesn't ask at all he is taking an approach of letting me decide when I want to see him but I hate being the one to invite myself over. When I say I am coming over later he always says OK but never when I don't say it he never asks if I am coming over. Would it be a good choice to stop inviting myself over and see how long it takes for him to ask me or would that make him think I lost interest?

I think that it would be a VERY good idea. You have a life. You have things to get done. Things to accomplish. If he can't be bothered to seek you out then there is something else going on. Make him work a bit harder, it won't kill him. Nor will it kill a good relationship. And so if it kills yours then it wasn't such a good relationship anyways was it? But you know that don't you? I think he got tired of asking you, so he waited for you to start asking. The same as you are thinking now. The best thing to do is talk to HIM not us. Discuss what it is that is bothering you with him.

I would not invite myself over. Do you like this guy? Did he ask you out for dates? I am having a hard time telling what is going on between the two of you because you are not saying that he was asking you out for dates every night. Is this all about going to his place and having sex?

No we have been on dates of course and sometimes he invites me over and we just play games or watch movies and cuddle up and he also has gone to the store and bought things I like to eat and drink and says he wants to have the for when I come over. We have had sex yes but not every time I come over.

Okay, well, I cannot tell from this how interested in him you are. Do you want to be his girlfriend? Are you hoping by playing it cool you will get that? I think you need to get a real clear idea what you want with him and then let him know. Personally he sounds like has cooled off and it may be because he overall just wants a casual deal with you and not anything more than that.

I want to be more I like him a lot but if things have cooled off I can accept that so that's what I want to know do I wait for him to invite me then to feel out what might or might not be going on?

Yes, you need to wait for him now but honestly, don't be surprised not to get much of a reaction. Once a guy cools off, well I have never seen them spark back up again. I think he probably wanted a casual situation with you and realized you wanted more and now leaves it up to you to keep anything going.
