How do I play him at his own game?

I'm having an on off relationship with a guy I like a hell of a lot. We were going out during the summer but now its just an on again off again type of thing. Its a complicated situation to say the least so to cut long story short, we're keeping things on the down low. I really really like him, I'm pretty sure that I love him, thing is I never know where I stand. When we're alone together he's all over me but then if I text him, start a conversation on msn with him, he ignores me. So is this a game? And if so I need to know how I can play him at his own game. Its driving me mad and I want to get him back so he'll see that its not fair.. Thanks in advance :)

The only reason you even want him is because he's not letting you have him. Why would you want to play him at 'his own game'? A GOOD relationship is not built off of manipulation. I'd say take a huge step back, realize that he's really not as into you as you want, and move on. If a guy doesn't want to speak to you during the week, he won't. Just because he's all over you when you're together makes no difference... really, though, step back and look at it logically, or it's going to wind up into a huge sh*ttastic whirlwind.

People who play games are insecure. they put walls up to see if others will care enough to try and break through. they want to be chased & pursued, and this sounds like him. he sounds like he needs validation from you to feel better about himself and comfort his insecurities. so when he ignores you and sees you trying to go after him again, he's getting what he wants "you comforting his insecurities & making him feel better about himself"

Just stop contacting him. Don't feed into his need to be validated. Don't comfort his insecurities. Let him understand that you're not there to cater to his fragile emotions. If you have to BEG someone to spend time with you, talk to you, have sex with you, be in a relationship with you, marry you, etc.. then you KNOW that this person clearly doesn't WANT to do any of those things on their own. Just stop trying to initiate contact with him.

That way, if HE WANTS to talk to you, he'll call you. It's not like he'll not call you because he's afraid you might not be interested in him & he's afraid of being rejected or seeming creepy. He's already seen you try and contact him so many times. He has no excuse. He should feel completely comfortable, and nothing should be holding him back from talking to you if that's what he wants to do. You've shown him your interest. Now it's time he shows you his. Or else, just leave.

Dont play him at his own game he's not worth it, to find out if he is worth stop being so THERE all the time don't start conversations his reaction to this will show you if he does like you the way you like him.

Does he go out with other girls and such? if so I think you should start doing the same.
