He is trying to make me admit that I like him, but tells me how much he like another girl. Explain?

I am not going to admit that I do, because I can tell that he flirts with other girls that he think is cute. I don't want to be just-one-of-them. But even if he do flirt with them, including with me, I cannot tell if he really does like me or not. I have read articles about what guys do when they like a girl, and they all seem to match whatever he is doing to me. He tells me what he liked about the girl that he found attractive, and some are things I have too. He even said "just like you" for some of them. He claims that he has never flirt with me, so unless he has a flirty personality (whatever that means), he is obviously lying there.

Some friends have told me that he is being a player. I think so too, which is why I am not sure about what he is doing with me. We are good friends, and he tells me about some of his things. Sometimes I am not even sure if he really means it when he calls me his best friend. What are you inputs on this? Especially from guys, what are you trying to do when you do this to a girl?

I know exactly how you feel! You are lost and desperate to find a way out. He flirts with you every time he talks to you. If you ask people on who he likes they'll probably guess you! But you claim it ain't true cause your friends and even you have seen him flirt with other girls. Now the rough part he is falling for this girl that ain't you. But you like him and can't let go. Am I rite?

1) if he hasn't told you the girls name then go ahead tell him... this type of guys won't think is weird that you like them. tell him straight up! or if your embarrased by a note. its probably more than obvious that he likes you! but don't start with the fairy tale going in your head cause this is a huge risk you have no idea who it is but just asume its you and take it from there...

2) if he told you the girl he likes. maybe he just wants to know if its true. I would tell him. I lost my opportunity with the guy and now he is going out with some girl... meaning he wants to know if its you cause he won't tell you its you so it won't get weird! take the opportunity!

3) if he has dated a lot of girls then lay low. say you don't like anyone. or throw in any lie you got on ya! (lil white lies don't hurt, but don't use them all the time!) protect yourself!

He told me who he likes. He also told me after that he doesn't like her anymore, and that he wanted to stay away. But what do you know, the next time I see them together, they were flirting together again. I don't like liars.

He might have liked me before, but he also liked other girls at the same time. I do not like guys who are like that. So I am just going to reject him if he tries to flirt again.

he's playing with your feelings. he probably has deep seeted insecurity issues which causes him to need admiration from numerous girls. don't trust guys like that or waste any time on them unless you're getting something out of it other than the benefit of his company. don't let him play you.

Yeah I think he has this ego thing too. He tells me that he likes me sometimes, but I am taking it that he is joking because he also keeps saying that I am a friend, and that he has mentioned that he finds flirting with friends is fun to him. I do hang out with him sometimes if you mean going on a date. Actually, I don't even know what it means by going on a date. Thing is I have an ego thing too. We are too similar in this respect.

Honestly it sounds like he is being a player. Personally I have never done this to anyone. If I liked a girl/woman, I told her. You should expect honesty and integrity from someone you consider a friend.
