1) Hold your cell phone. Act like you can't get a good signal and you're moving your phone trying to find service..."ahhhh wait! There we go!" As your phone hand/arm is around the back of her head and lowered onto her shoulder.
2) Ask, "do you know what noise a rocket ship makes?" Put your hands together like you're praying, make "bwoooorrssshhhh" noises as your hands go up (the rocket launch) and as your hands get to maximum height, have them drift apart and lower one arm around her.
3) Ask her 'If you were a pirate, which shoulder would you want your parrot on? This one (put your hand on the shoulder closest to her), or this one?
... Then put your arm around her and leave it there.
I was standing with a guy I barely knew recently and he just did it, just put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him and it wasn't weird. Just be blunt.

I guess if you really want something to make it feel natural, you could lean in and talk to her, bc she'll lean in then too most likely towards you, so it'll feel more normal and natural then.
