Is he ignoring me because he's trying to get over me?

My ex and I broke up. He had another girlfriend. I was seeing someone else (who he knew about). He also knew that this other guy was trying to get back into my life.

Regardless, my ex and I were hanging out and talking a lot more (he broke up with his girlfriend). I guess it was heading towards getting back together, but I kinda shut it down. He knew I didn't want a relationship. But he kissed me.

He's dating someone else now, and he doesn't talk to me at all anymore. I guess I hurt his feelings, but it's not like he didn't hurt me, too. So why is he trying so hard to cut me out of his life?

I think men are like that when it comes to a relationship where they like a girl and want to be in a relationship with them, but its clear that the girl doesn’t feel the same way, they move on and they do that by finding someone else and keeping away from that person, especially since you guys were in a relationship before. I don’t think he's trying to cut you off he's just trying to move on, I’m sure when he does, you guys can be friends.

maybe he does like you but he's just trying everything to act like he doesn't care because you probally don't care and he sees that.

Well, you are an Ex and he may be wanting to concentrate on his new girlfriend/not cause drama. Plus, don't expect a lot of time from him because, your not dating anymore, and plain and simply you crossed the friend zone and its hard to go back... especially if he still likes you. So best of luck but I wouldn't expect to be best friends with this person.

That's true. But I'm not sure if he still liked me. I figured the kiss was more of a heat of the moment kind of thing because he didn't bring it up the next day when we talked. I dunno...but thanks for the input.

I'm not sure why you are assuming he is trying to cut you... you just are out. And I know from personal experience that NOTHING complicates a new relationship as much as still dealing with a past one.

Because we've had arguments before and periods of not talking but we always worked it out. We were friends before we started dating. So I feel like it says a lot that we don't talk at all.

dude this guy is a player. he's not contacting you because he's with the new chic. This is all a game for him. So when he gets upset with her he will be back trust me . But you need to figure out if that's the kind of guy you want to be with or keep in contact with. If your perfectly ok with him just sleeping with you when its convinient for him than go for it have fun. but don't take him seriously...

Woahhhh. Why do people on here always seem to assume sex was involved? I'm still a virgin, lol. I think I worded the question weird. He wasn't seeing someone the same time as me. When we broke up, he started seeing someone else. The reason why it bothers me that we don't talk is because we used to be really good friends. I don't understand why we can't go back to that when he's the one who wanted to break up in the first place.
