Girl can I just say that you have no reason to be ashamed, yes you may feel a little embarrassed or left out of "society's norms" but dont forget thats all it is, "society's norms." I didn't have my first kiss (and boyfriend) until my final months of being 18. I always imagined myself and daydreamed of kissing many of my crushes, especially because one claimed to like me back. But majority of the those crushes were all assholes mind you, who probably would of taken advantage of me whilst kissing (I know it sounds like, oh thats not possible but it is). My first kiss was with the guy Im currently seeing and his the sweetest guy I've met. His thoughtful and always makes sure Im comfortable when we kiss with what he's doing. Bottom line I suggest you wait until you actually like a guy and he likes you back, so the kiss will be natural, and both you and the guy will enjoy it.
And can I say, kissing is so much better than I thought it was ;)

You shouldn't be ashamed of never having your first kiss yet! Save that kiss for someone you really like and care about and not just to hoes around school. My advice is if you have a crush on someone, try making the first move because he may like you too, he's just shy about it. Trust me, that's my situation right now. There's no need to be in a hurry for your first kiss! It's better to save it for "the one", unlike those other guys at your school who kiss just kiss for the sake of kissing.
Honestly, I think that it's nothing to be ashamed of! Whether you've kissed someone or not by a certain age doesn't mean you're more/less attractive than anyone else. I think that you're better off waiting until you find someone you like and are comfortable with. Are you in a club or group outside of school? Kissing comes pretty naturally, but I still get a bit nervous about kissing someone new for the first time. Chances are nobody will know it's your first kiss unless you tell them!
Listen. I'm literally just like you, but I'm a guy. Don't be desperate for your first kiss cause it will make it mentally harder for you cause of the negative thoughts. I learned to just wait and let the opportunity come. Try to start talking to guys you feel comfortable with. I understand you are shy, but you can't stay shy forever. Start now. Plus you're only 17. You still have sooo much time for your first kiss. I'm not trying hard for my first kisss. Try to be patient and it will happen

Girl, stop fretting. I did not get my first kiss until I was 24. Trust me, wait for someone you like to treat you the way you deserve to be treated and don't settle just because you are eager to get it over with.
Oh god, don't do this just for the sake of doing it. My first kiss was at age 20, and it was with a guy I didn't even like that much. Why would you want that lol, just wait until you're with someone actually worth your while :)
haha people in my year level already have had their first kiss. I want mine but not desperately and for it to be in like the movie Monte Carlo.
