I think you should ask her to the jr prom or just ask her out. If you like her you shouldn't watch her move to other guys, you should go for it.

She sounds like the wild type. If she randomly asked someone 'hot', perhaps she's more into getting with him than just into going to the sr prom. Can't say for sure though, just don't let her walk away from ya, she wants you to step up to her.

it depends on what thier relationship is. can you tell how she feels about him? does he like her? if I were you , I would let her know that I wanted to take her, but that you are ok with it and that you want her to have fun. That, way you can at least be an option if she doesn't really dig her prom date that way.

I believe they're only friends. I haven't exactly seen flirty convos between them on FB and infact I didn't even know the guy existed untill she mentioned him. I think she just simply picked the most attractive boy in senior grade and asked him.

Yeah she does. I mean she does acknowledge and is friendly to me. she once asked me if I was going to the jr prom, I said "nah" and she said "oh, well you probably would have asked me anyway *giggle*" I don't know if that was a hint that she wanted me to ask her, or if she was boosting her self esteem by going "Haha I know he likes me so ill boost my self esteem by stating it".

I agree it is a good question. I'm a Jr in highschool and so is she, even though she clearly stated to others that she's not going to the jr prom, I could have still made an effort to ask her. But I personally am not into proms and dances either so whatever.

as for this senior prom, I can't ask her even if I wanted. she's a jr and going with a senior. I'm assuming she's going to sr prom and not jr prom because of supposedely how much jr prom was gonna suck. netherless you do have a good point :)
