Wow, that's tough.
I had a HUGE crush on my teacher my senior year of high school, but while I ws 18 he was 25 so it wasn't a bug age difference at all. All the girls loved him and he was very, very awkward with female students because he could have passed as a student himself.
I was seriously convinced he had a crush on me. Other people in the class started to notice, too. He always had people in the front row roll dice during class for stuff. One day he had me roll the dice but my seat was the farthest away from him in the corner of the room. Also, there was an empty desk in front of me because a girl dropped the class. He never told me to move, so I didn't. When he passed out papers he always personally delivered mine rather than just passing it down the row like he did for everyone else. My desk was next to a file cabinet that he was always at, too. I remember one day in class we were working on projects and he pulled a chair over and sat at my desk with me. He was surprisingly close to me. There was a kid in the class that everyone made fun of and was actually very funny. Anytime the kid did something funny the teacher looked at me and smiled. EVERY TIME! He also paired me with the kid for a project and I swear he did it and gave me a smirk like " ha ha payback"... Nothing he ever did was inappropriate, just interesting.

I had a prof. who did this too but my prof. was a female! She was young, married and an adjunct prof. I took her Shakespeare class and thought it was too easy. She always seemed impressed by my intelligence of the subject matter and writing skills. She even asked me one day if I was an English major and I wasn't.
I think he appreciates you as a student and sees you're accelerating in his class. Teachers love when they get positive results in their classes from their students. In addition, I have had other profs give 'special' attention to their stronger, intelligent students.
sounds like teacher is being naughty :P LOL
okaaii, it is really creepy feeling when a teacher likes a student. Give him that look that ur not interested in him as he has not asked you out or done anyting he should'nt. So I think the look should hint him to stop doing it. Teachers do appreicate what their students do but not in that way. He should know his boundries!
Yah bit obvious and unprofessional but if you feel the same go for it when you graduate...

he is probably just being nice to you since nothin serious has happened yet I wouldn't think to much of it. But if he wants you to stay after a lot or wants you to be alone with him on more than once than that's when you should be worried. Also if he keeps finding random dumb reasons to touch you or to lean over you.
he likes you, no doubt about it. Now this is what you must do, make your feeings as clear to him. no need to say anyhting to him, but ur actions should give him clues that he needs to back off, like dnt look at him much or smile at him much. and sit with friends rather than alone. and try not going to him for a chat or help. well its up2 you.
He's a perv. Stay clear of him.
