Okay so I have a crush on a guy, I've liked him for about a month now. We aren't close at all, like we literally don't talk outside of school & even then we don't talk that much because we only had 1 class together.
At the beginning of the year, he would shout "BYE BRANDI" to me at the end of the day (which is name btw) aside from that, he would pass me in the hallway and say hey or smile at me. Even though we never talked, also there was an inside joke going around school, which was telling me to "shut up" when I wasn't even talking, well my crush told me to shut up and I was irritated already. Then later that day at 11pm he sent me a DM on Instagram apologizing.
He also stares at me a lot or sometimes he'll look at me and then look away quickly. He acts like we're so close, but we aren't. For example I went jogging a few weeks ago and he seen me and he waved at me & started running towards me & he gave me a few high fives and we talked for a little bit. Also today I seen him at the fair, I was standing behind him in a line waiting to get my armband and he turned around and did a handshake with me and he was with a group of a few of his close friends that are girls, and he told them that I was his "nigga" when we aren't even close, like I said earlier, then a few seconds after he told me to ride a ride with him, he made me sit by him, he told me to hold his hand, and he talked to me during the entire ride & he tried talking to me later on once he seen me again.
What's going on? Can somebody help me?
