He listens in on my conversations with other guys! What is going on?

I like him- a lot- and we've had a rather complex past. Last year (the first time we've seen each other in years) we had this intense eye contact thing which led me to believe that he had renewed his interest in me. But then, when I asked him out via text, he completely ignored it, and now it's really awkward between us. But then, he listens in on my conversations with other guys! What is going on?

So many guys wanting the girl to make the first move and then when she does they stick their head in the sand. *Giggles*

He could just be processing the information in his head. Guys tend to withdraw when they are doing this (opposite of girls mind you who like to talk to work out their emotions).

Perhaps tell him you're sorry for coming on so strong, and you'd like it if things could relax again between you. Tell him when he's ready to talk about things you'll be there, but otherwise won't bring up the subject again. :)

Honey, he's just a curious person. Don't read too much into it. If he ignored your text then he doesn't really like you.
