If yes, how?
there are very nice answers but I can't pick 1 as the best! sorry
I'm a guy who is 5'7. Average is 5'10 - 6 feet. I walk through the hallways where I teach, and A LOT of the 5th grade boys are already taller than me.
For a guy, height is a lot. Work, women, etc, tend to prefer taller guys, and will pass over a short genius for an unqualified taller man. With women, it's more of the inconvenience of not being able to reach things it's seen as more "normal" or "accepted" for a woman to be smaller.
While you may be smaller, I think that 5'3 & 116 lbs is fine height to weight ratio. One upside is that if you prefer dating taller guys, then you'll have an easier time of finding a taller guy that is right for you! ;) and you can use your height to an advantage: Asking taller guys to help reach things might just work for getting dates!
I think it's about presence as well. If you shrink back, slump shoulders, and wear ill fitting clothes, you may look smaller.
Look at Christopher Reeve's performance in the Superman films. He looks smaller as Clark Kent, because he's more "slumped." Boris Karloff wore clothes that were ill fitting in order to seem bigger for his role as Frankenstein's monster.
As far as most hormone injections, it's been considered dangerous and irresponsible; even then, it's been done by parents when the kid is younger; the idea that, along with his "natural" growth, the hormones will help; I've never heard of people trying it who are already past their "peak" of growing taller; buyer beware is always a good idea when regarding many "miracle" pills/injections and the like.
However, it would not hurt for eating fruit veggies, proper proteins, etc; this will help you feel better and be healthier; as far as helping you to grow taller, though, I remain skeptical.
Good luck.
Thanks
Unfortunately not.
Unless you were malnutritioned your entire life (which by the way - is a cause for not growing properly therefore remaining short) and your body therefore retained "potential".
You can however, if you have a bad posture increase your perceived height by stretching and doing flexibility excercises - but of course, the main impact is better health rather than significant increase in height.
Cheers.
Unfortunately not, I think the maximum age a woman still has the potential normally to grow is 20 or 21 which is when some women finish puberty, after which your at your full height, you can have better posture so that your always stand up straight which can make you appear slightly taller than if you slouched.
I'm 5"3 as well and although I would love to be taller, it's not a bad height to be, as technically your just below average height and doubt many people would actually think a woman of that height is extremely short, and when it comes to guy they do sort of prefer the shorter girls as they have a cuter build and they like to feel like they can protect the girl there with. Also be glad your a woman as at least you have the option of heels to make you taller.
Sorry darling to be straight out and realistic, you will not grow taller the maximum age for a female is 21 years old. If anything do you know every time you have a child you shrink half a centre meter, yep it's true ;(. The only thing that will help you is a pair of good heals like the previous answerer stated. Do you know there is a surgery they do in China, it's crazy though its costs and arm and a leg they make your legs longer which will ultimately make you taller.
P.S from this surgery you grow only like 1-2 cm if your lucky, it's crazy painful and people who get it done are in bed for up to 1 year and have to take 1 year off work-It's crazy and so not worth it. Be happy and content with how God created you ;).
Thanks. I'm gonna try
Other than a medieval torture rack, I do think so. Although there are many asian drugs on the markets in asia that claim to have 'proven' results. If you are really interested you could try them.
They don't even sound real, but thanks for your ans.
Heh, asia also has "MP5 players". I doubt drugs would work anyhow.

Why do you want to get taller? That height and weight makes me think you're healthy and cute.
Also, any growth hormones you take will make you grow side-to-side, not up-and-down.
Gosh! thanks for saying that I mean really don’t wanna get fat
Most of that is prevention. If you don't have enough calcium, your bones will weaken. Bad posture will cause your back to arch forward. Too much strain on your back (backpacking a lot, etc.) will cause the sponge-like material in between your vertebrae to compress.
From now on you'll just get smaller and smaller, and when your about 80 years old you'll be two to four inches shorter than you are now. If you could somehow live 200 years, you'd dissapear altogether.
U put the funniest post's
Palek, you're my faaave =)
MOstly not. Because 20 or at the most 21 is the age until which you will grow, after which, u'r natural process of growth stops. There are few artificial methods, but I don't think they're a good idea. Activities like Swimming and playing Basketball might help you, but I'm skeptical, since you are 25. But it's still worth a try, Good Luck.
well unless your 25 years old and haven't started your period...then there is still room for growth but seeing how you are an "adult" once a women starts her period she is pretty much done growing...there is room for a inch or so after the period but it you definitely stop after 16 or so...sooooo I suggest louboutins? ;)
yea you are pretty much stuck at your height. but why be unhappy about it? I think between 5' and 53 is the perfect height for a girl.
no, people stop growing when they finish going through puberty which is long before you turn 25. there's nothing wrong with being your size, I'm 5'0" and 120lbs. your height and weight are fine.
I'm 4'11". Get over it and love yourself a little more. It will make you feel better than being taller ever will.
Thanks :)
Get a lot of great heels. And WORK on having a great ass. Fashion can then make You appear taller. I am sure You already have a great ass. But to exercises and weights that target it. Then...use clothes to finish the look. Good luck.
Surgery can. The things in the link don't actually make you taller, just make you have better posture (generally). If you slouch, you can be taller by not slouching, that's about it.
I doubt it. I know loads of people around your height. Why'd you want to know if you can grow taller?
No, a woman reaches her full height during her late teens (like 16 or 17). I am sorry to disappoint you.
Short, huh? Well, I'm 4'11, so it could always be worse;)
My family members are tall so I always thought that I'm gonna be tall too, that's why it was hard for me to accept but I have anyways. but thanks so much for trying to make me feel better :)
...No, not really but I think your height is just fine.If you feel short you can always have the opportunity to wear heels without feeling too tall...
No, you stopped growing but you can take HGH (human growth hormone) if prescribed by a doctor, talk to yo doctor.
i doubt it. why would you want to anyway?
Because I'm 5'3" !!
I feel short
Only way you will get taller is with an operation which can take months and require hospitalisation, some people do it, cuting the bone and slowly stretching them apart so they lenthen...
Human growth hormone...but why bother?
U must have a hell of a cute butt!
Mick
Are there any side effects?
girls I think tend to have stopped growing when they are 16.
Im sure I read it somewhere.
I don't think so---not unless you get leg-lengthening surgery.
