Is it true that when a guy holds the door open for a girl he's really checking out her butt?

Me and some friends were talking and at some point of the guys mentioned that "When a guy holds the door open for a woman, his real motive is to check out her ass, They really aren't trying to be a gentleman as many girls think".

After he said that another guy said "Dude don't give away our Guy secrets!" and we all laughed. He said it makes girls think that guys are being a nice gentleman but really they are trying to perv on the girl undercover and they don't go out of their way to do it as much for "ugly" girls. Not including older women of course.

Guys is this the case most of the time when you hold the door open for a girl?

If you're walking out of a store and you see a chick about to walk into the store and you rush and open the door for her are you really just trying to get a good view of her butt as she walks to her destination or are you really attempting to be a gentleman?

im sure most guys do it to be a gentleman. they probably do it more for attractive women, to get their attention. Because I mean, if they noticed you a mile away, and you see them dash towards you to beat you into opening the door. I mean, c'mon how can you not notice that! They do it to get the girl's attention, and probably for a number too.

As for checking out the woman's ass?Guys do that ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. So checking out her ass as they hold the door for her, is just a plus plus*.

I mean, I hope doors open for all kinds of people. From the elderly to people with a zoo worth of children. Don't think it's the kind of thing you can say say is a 'guy' thing. I'm usually too busy thinking about what I'm at the store to get, I never really thought about it.

A little bit of both, a lot of guys do it kind of instinctively as that's what they grew up on, and also to check girls out. But, the harsh truth is if you're not as pretty or overweight most guys won't do it or just instinctively do it.
