is he a bad speller, I know use to be a horrible speller so it limited a lot of things I could say when it comes to written text, plus if he's like me he probably doesn't like to talk a lot so that might be it, also I hate texting I would much rather talk on the phone then to get a text message, it's hard to show emotion in texts, which makes it harder to get a point of view bye, (in your head and how you say it, it may sound sarcastic but just in text it could come as being what you really think)
Maybe he's not a fast texter, so shorter answers are easier. Or maybe the texts you send are best answered that way. Or maybe you just text too much. Guys are just not generally as talkative as girls. If everything else about your relationship is fine, I wouldn't worry about it.
Because guys don't text like girls do and he's probably just not a texter. If in person he is affectionate and loving, a text doesn't matter. Focus on reality in the relationship. Im sure there is nothing going on.

That's always been one thing I get annoyed by with girls. Just because he only sends short responses, doesn't mean there's something going on. Some guys like face to face better. It usually means nothing if he only sends short responses.

Short texts are easier. Besides I believe texting is unpractical and difficult.
So what about if a guy used to text constantly all the time long texts and now it changed to one or two words?
