All we do is stare at each other, HOW do I make the next move?

He's a really shy guy and I'm a shy girl. We look at each other a lot and when I catch him staring he won't look away until I look away. He sits next to me when there are others open and he ALWAYS looks at me. I like him a lot...but I feel like being the shy guy he is he'll NEVER make a move. He'll just keep dropping these hints. I've never been bold but I don't want to lose this chance.

How exactly should I approach him and what should I say?

Have you tried "Hi - how are you?", "What you been upto over the weekend"...think of some questions to ask him...don't worry about the topic you both need to just talk to each other first and be comfortable talking to each other...ask him what's his hobbies are..any sporting interests, tell him you hobbies and interests and talk about them.. I actually haven't tried saying much because I'm at lost for words but I really want to smile at him? Is that weird. What if he thinks that's weird :(

Your over analysing the situation. If he looks at you then smile, he should smile back. I know it is very hard for you to pluck up the courage and I realize how big a step this is for both of you, but it is the only way. And no, it is not weird for you to smile, guys like it when girls smile at them, it means your friendly/maybe interested. If he thinks it's weird and he turns away and walks off, don't let it get you down, it's just new to him, keep doing it to him and he'll get used to it.

just ask if he wants a girlfriend... if he says yes ask him out... rule on shy guys they'll never ask girls out I never did except once but I was rejected and I gave up ... I prefur the girl to ask me out and make the first moves etc
