Why does she try to make me jealous?

I'm a very relaxed person and I have no clue what it would take to make me jealous at this point in the relationship. At parties guys come up and hit on my girlfriend a lot but I really just think it's funny because at the end of the night she has a way of finding her way back with me.



Do you think that my lack of jealous is a turn-on or turn-off for her?

I think that she even tries to make me jealous sometimes. She'll go off and start to dance with another guy and winks at me.

I normally just go get another drink because I don't want to sit and watch her dance with another guy even though I don't worry about what's happening I don't just wanna stand alone and watch.

Should I be at least a little jealous or do you think that my confidence is a good thing for our relationship?

alot of girls are insecure and/or just need reassurance from their boyfriends. she's trying to test how much you care for her by seeing if you get jealous. I'm guilty of doing this too; it feels nice knowing that my boy wants me just to himself. but its not your fault you don't get jealous.. being confident is a good thing and really sexy. and no you shouldn't be jealous because clearly she is only doing this to get a reaction out of you. DO explain to her that when she tries to make you jealous the only reason it doesn't work is because you feel comfortable with your guyss' relationship and (even if its bullsh*t) tell her that you could never see yourself cheating on her so you don't worry about her doing it to you.

That's very bad advice. Don't just tell her what she wants to hear, it will only cause you bigger problems in the future.

Damn, that answers my question. There is a girl I am dating right now, and she admitted 2 days ago that she was trying to get a rise out of me with some stuff she says and does to see if I get jealous. At times I don't get jealous and usually that also depends on what it is.

Confidence is a good thing, but sometimes girls like to know that you care about them. When another guy is hitting on her and you show no reaction, sometimes a girl may take that as a sign that you don't care.

We don't want you guys to get enraged, but showing it bothers you a little every now and then is nice, just to know that the person we're with does care that much about us.

I think she just wants to make things...interesting.

she wants you to get jealous, so you can be her macho boyfriend.

the big hint would be her dancing with someone else and winking at you.. she wants to see a reaction out of you. every girl wants a bad boy, or to feel wanted and I'm guessing jealous is a way to get that.

But then that's a big problem because I know that she isn't going to go home with him so how am I supposed to get jealous?

I'm at a place in the relationship where I feel a strong sense of security. I let her go to a party with a bunch of her old high school friends. I did this because I knew she would get bored there and want to come to the party I was at. I was right she did. If I can trust her this much why would I ever be jealous?

Being unreactive is best. Of course if get a little much you need to man up. If she does the dance thing ...I would do the same. Careful though it might give her reason to go further as well. I am not into women that plays games. So if that was done to me I start looking and keep my options open. I have boundaries so their is a thing called respect.

I don't feel like she's disrespecting me when she's dancing with another guy I feel like she's having fun. I can honestly admit she probably enjoys dancing 100x more than I do. Why would I want to keep my option open? It's not like she doing anything wrong she's just dancing lol.
