From my experience, the most attractive way for a man to cry is to cry into your arms, when they can't hold it in any longer and up grabbing you into a hug so that they cry onto your shoulder, leaving you to hug them and comfort them. Most unattractive is watching a guy cry over a soap-opera or anything along those lines... It's understandable if they cry for a good cause, e.g. a loss of a family member or friend, but if they end up being very emotional and crying over something very small or every time someone insults the guy then it's unattractive.
And as for the event he may handle grief by moving on, holding a grudge, or simply by crying.
of course it's not unattractive, it's an emotion, it makes them human, I don't see why men crying should make anyone feel any more uncomfortable than them being happ or angry or any other emotion, it's ridiculous.

He's human too! Not just a male. He has feelings and emtions just like women because we're all human.
It's not that it's unatractive or attractive, it's a way to know the guy is sensitive and that some girls find very cute (but not all). Then again attractive isn't the right word, it's more like cute like aww! In a sensitive way? Get what I'm saying?
No, I might feel bad for him because he is pain, but is not unattractive. It would be if he cried every five minutes, but most men don't do that.
Depends on the situation, but generally speaking no.
If he's a crier, (really emotional) that's not an attractive trait in a man (or any person). but occasionally for significant reasons it's extremely understandable.
if it just tears not sobbing sob sob + over smth that really matters.. that makes you human :)
