This girl is so beautiful, she makes me nervous?

So for the last few months I've been hanging out with a girl I met through a friend, we also went to the same school and I've always noticed her but never really talked to her.

Normally I am a fairly laid back, and can talk to just about anyone, and hold a conversation, look people in the eye and all that jazz, no problem. But there is something about this girl that I just get nervous and seem to shut down when I'm around her, we talk and get along but when I'm around her I become the shyest guy, she seems to act the same around me as well. I really like her and it's the first time I've ever really felt this way about another person and I'm fairly confident that she feels the same, she told the friend that introduced us that she likes me, but I don't know how to go about telling her how I feel, and I'm not the type of guy to make the first move. I don't know any advice?

To be honest though I don't think she knows what she wants, and it kills me because for the first time in my life I've got a good idea of what I want.

Well man, you know already that she likes you, your suspicion has been confirmed! I'm sure you are nervous around her because you want it to work, and you probably just don't want to screw it up somehow. My advice is to just go for it man, you have a REALLY, REALLY good chance that it will work out the way you want it to. Now, don't commit what I call 'dating suicide' and get all serious and tell her exactly how crazy you are about her(you've seen Dazed and Confused right?). Why?, you might ask. Well, because she already has figured that you are interested in her intuitively just as you said you could tell she was into you, its just gut instinct. Remember, actions speak way louder than words. I'm not sure how often you see her, but my first step would be to get in contact with her somehow, and start building some rapport, even if its just sending her a friend request on facebook. This ACTION shows your interest in her. Talk with her, joke around, make sure she's having a good time in your interactions, that way she associates positive, fun experiences when your name pops on the screen or she hears about you, thinks of you, etc. Then, just ask her for her number. The point during this whole process is to SHOW her your interest level, and remain confident in your self NO MATTER what happens with her, whether it works out or it doesnt. You say you are not the kind of guy to make the first move, well I'm here to tell you that you NEED to, and that girl WANTS you to ask her out desperately. You see, most women are candy-asses, and they will rarely ever approach and make the first move on a guy they want/interested in. Just be cool, don't let on fully how crazy you are about her, make her do a little work to figure it out, its called playing hard-to-get and it works for a reason. The reason is mystery, if she likes you she will want to figure out how much you like her. Hope this helps man. good luck!

I know It's hard but .. just be yourself talk to her about what hobbies she likes what music she is into try and build some common ground but do not let her past believe from experiance I did nothing! and regret not doing anything and a few years later you may regret it too if you do not act upon this great situation you are in ... she likes you that's a start!

aww that's so cute ! lol just work on your confidence your nice looking guy so don't be nervous! I say try getting to know her a wee bit more, mabey find out what she's into an talk about that the more you know each other the easier it will be, just try to let her know your interested by giveing small hints like smiles lol Good luck!

Aw that's cute that you get nervous around her haha. I would say, just be confident. Act like she's any other person (as hard as that may seem.) Make eye contact with her, smile, and just be relaxed! People can sense when you're tense, so just enjoy it, and get to know her. You shouldn't have a problem! Good luck. xx. :)

don't let her know that you are too nervous... act confident but not cocky. Just start a conversation with her when it seems appropriate (try to do it when her friends are not around) and if you both like each other then things will pick up.

One thing I've learned is the most attractive bird in the bar is never approached. I decided one day to ask out the hot blonde sitting by herself. Ended up talking for hours and got a number. Women are people too mate don't be scared of them oftentimes they haven't been approached.
