Don't ever change to satisfy anyone because I'm sure they'll find something else to pick at you about, people are just rude like that everywhere.
You should love yourself the way you are. Maybe find a really short girl, I'm 5'5" & a 1/2 & I've dated a 5'10" guy it's not that bad. I don't consider you short.

And I'm like 100% sure that height is not the only determining factor of whether or not a girl wants to date you.
Also limb lengthening, what the heck, that sounds painful, and for what, two inches? First off you shouldn't mess with your body like that, second off, two inches won't make that big a difference.

That's not short. What, is everyone in your town extremely tall? It's average for a guy (along that spectrum). I wouldn't advise you to get a surgery. You're just fine. Forget people.
Don't get surgery. There are some things you can do to increase/fool your height (not by much), like sleeping on your back, wearing elevator shoes, wearing clothing with vertical stripes, stretching and yoga, swimming, et cetera. At the same time, don't develop a Napoleon complex either.
The guys who make fun of you are assholes. Plain and simple.
You're fine. You're actually about average for a guy. We're not all over 6'0".
Limb lengthening surgury is extremely painful and will weaken you for life. You will have to re-learn to walk, as well as how to tell where your limbs are. I would strongly urge you to reconsider.

Dude, I'm 6 foot 2 and one of the tallest guys in my school of 1500. your not short, and a surgery will only make your day suck more as you sit in a recovery room, cost you money, and make you buy al new pants, its reall not worth it at all.

why do you care about what other people say? I would never have surgery to change my appearance because other people are being mean about how you look. just ignore them and move on.
