Is it weird to pick up a girl when hugging?

I was wondering what girls think when a guy lifts you up when hugging you. Do you like it or hate it? I like to lift up this girl when we hug. we are good buddies, I wouldn't just lift any girl. I wanted to do it to another girl who hugs me, but I don't want to creep her out. To me its just a friendly hugs, its not a big deal. I was thinking if she might take it the wrong way though. I think its cool that some girls are so light, almost weightless. I bet a strong breeze could knock them over. :)

I absolutely love it. My best guy friend sometimes does that and I just love it. I think it is a very flirty type thing to do though, just saying. Don't won't your buddy to get the wrong idea. :P It probably won't come off as a "friendly hug", so I wouldn't do that to your other buddy who might take it the wrong way. Don't lead her on if you don't like her. Again, just saying. Hope this helps!

I think it's nice, if it was my boyfriend, but sometimes it can come across as flirty if it was your friend. Make sure you use some kind of "in joke" or something whilst doing it. However, it does make me feel appreciated more if it was a male friend.

One of my high school buddies hugged me like that moments after graduation and that's how it FINALLY hit me that we liked each other. Too bad we'd already been accepted into different universities that weren't even in the same state.

i don't really like it because I think I'm too heavy to be lifted.. other than that, it's a nice gesture.

I'm just going to say this I don't know how much do not know how much you weigh that's a proper to ask I know I'm just going to say this no one's too happy to be lifted it just depends on who is lifting don't put yourself down with weight is only a number that can go down or up at any given time so don't be set up over it look the way you want to live have a happy life even though happiness is towards you achieve but it's worth achieving
