Ladies!! This girl wants me to watch romantic comedies with her. What should I think?

This girl I've been talking to lately has been watching all of these romantic comedy movies and I being a guy have never seen any of them. So she said that she thinks I should see them and that we should have a movie night one night to "expand my movie horizon." Does it mean anything? Is she interested? What's everyone's opinions? Girls especially.

Girls love romantic comedies, and they want an excuse to watch them with someone. This is probably her favorite movie genre. Don't be afraid to make some of your own suggestions and repay the favor. Try alternating choices. She picks the first time, so you get to pick the next. That way, you can alternate "The Notebook" with "The Dark Knight" (or whatever it is that you two watch). Try and find a happy medium!

I can't tell if she is interested from what you've told me, or if she is a move nut. Personally, I have a lot of guy friends, and I love having them over and introducing them to new movies. I am in school to work in the film industry, so it is natural for me to want to share my passions with others. Maybe she just loves movies and this is her first choice of something to do. Or maybe she wants to get you alone. Throw her some signals and see what happens.

Ok thanks. She has been watching them lately because she was sick and home for a few days. But yea she said she loves them. She's not a big sports fan so I suggested that she can show me some movies and that I'd teach her about sports. But yea I've been talking to her for close to a month ever since I found out from her and her friends that she thought I was cute. I feel like she is interested because she texts me all the time and I just kinda feel a connection.

And as soon as I mentioned that I might be coming down this weekend she excitedly told me to let her know if I am. So I feel like she is but I'm just trying to make sure.

Wow, I just realized that I have two comments on this question. Hmmm...

If she's not into sports, I recommend teaching her something that you can do one-on one. Kick a soccer ball around or something. I know that personally, I would get overwhelmed by playing a new sport against a whole group of people.

Hahaha I had no idea either. Yea I was thinking of watching a sports game with her or playing one with her and teaching it to her. Like I said above I'm planning on seeing her in the next few days so I'll try something out.

Just a side note, if she doesn't really like sports, I wouldn't recommend watching it with her. Some people find this a lot of fun, but if you don't care for the sport, it can be extremely boring. I think she would have a lot of fun playing it with you! This gives you the chance to run around, laugh, and go outside. Besides, girls love to be chased. *hint hint*

Well thanks for your answers and all your advice. But unfortunately she just informed me that she just got out of a relationship and it is still too soon for her to be in another one with me. I can't post links. But if you look up the title "Girl talked and flirted with me for a few months, now just wants to be friends. Idk what to do about it? Let me know what you think because I really like her.

Well it sounds like you two are bonding quite a bit. Good for you. There is always a little uncertainty in the beginning, but if you are interested in this girl, give it a shot.

OK thanks. Yep I am going to . Everyday that I talk to her the uncertainty kinda goes away but I will know for sure once I go on a date with her.

Good luck! At least you know what to do on a date... take her to a romantic comedy! But it's virtually impossible to talk (or kiss, if you come to that) during a movie, so maybe go for dinner or a walk in the park, etc, after. Give her a chance to talk your ear off. :P

Yep will do. Well she's been mostly watching them at her house. So that will be better than the movies if we ever watch one. I'm gonna try and see her in the next few days. So yes dinner and then something after is definitely what I'm thinking of doing.
